Coming from the west to Elkhart Lake allows the greatest flexability for travelers. If coming from the northwest (Minneapolis) take I90-94 south towards Lacrosse. Approximately 30 miles south of Lacrosse, take State Highway 82 east. 82 will eventually turn into STH 23, which will bring you through Fond Du Lac to Plymouth. Take STH 67 north into the Village of Elkhart Lake.
If you are coming from the southwest (Iowa) take U.S. Highway 151 northeast through Madison to Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin and then STH 23 east to STH 67. STH 67 north to Elkhart Lake.
Finally, if you want to take interstate highway from start to finish, I-90/94 runs through Madison, Wisconsin, than I-94 runs east into the City of Milwaukee. From Milwaukee, take I-43 North (towards Green Bay), and once in Sheboygan, take STH 23 west to STH 67. Take STH 67 north into the village. (please see "from north" section for details and maps)
