Police Chief Randy Boeldt joined the Elkhart Lake Police Department on May 1st of 1990.
Chief Boeldt began his career in law enforcement in 1981 when he joined the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department.
During his tenure at the Sheriff's Department he served as a Field Traning Officer, Firearms Instructor,
he was on the SWAT and Scuba Teams and he was also a K-9 handler. Chief Boeldt has an associate degree
in Police Science and he also holds a bachlors degree in Business Administration.
Chief Boeldt resides in Elkhart Lake with his wife, Dorothy Farrell, along with their two dogs
(Golden Doodle's) Wilson and Abby. They have one married daughter, Tanya, who is currently
living in Boston with her husband, Patrick Buchanan.
